“ We had an amazing meal at Surfing Crab! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We kicked things off with hush puppies and fried pickles — both perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. For our main courses, we enjoyed a feast of crawfish, juicy shrimp, zesty lemon pepper wings, and sweet potato fries that were seasoned to perfection. “ They are welcoming, the service was excellent but the seafood boil was not so great. My crab legs were stuck to the shell & pale looking. The eggs were extra boiled. Flavor was not it. The chicken wings were delicious but too salty, lemon pepper. It’s a one & done. Two people. ”

There were two young men (Teenagers) at the register so my family and I greeted them with a good afternoon and a smile and nothing but silence so my husband repeated himself and silence and was given a blank stare. My husband responded to the stare with youll dont havemanners or know how to say hi? NOTHING. He wanted to leave after that but I convinced him for us to stay. “ Food was amazing! It was our first time here so we were nervous on how everything would taste. Our waiter was super attentive with us and helped us decide what to order. The snow crab surely did not disappoint, it was on point. Big plus on this restaurant is providing gloves, wet wipes and a bunch of napkins for the mess. Prices are reasonable and well worth it as well We got a burger to try their non seafood menu and it was not bad, french fries were for sure my fav! Will be our go to if we are in the area ”

“ As a longtime resident of Pasadena, I'm glad to see a new and upcoming restaurant open up in the old red lobster location on Spencer. We're privileged to have a company come in and spend a large amount of money to renovate the old store and bring in new life and business. For that we are grateful. We want to see them do well in our city! we were there on their third night, and everything was just right! They had enough employees to cover the customers, and the decor was very nice. You can tell that the owners take pride in their business by the way they have decorated and made a large investment. I encourage people who read this to not be so quick to leave a poor review because something didn't go your way. Pasadena needs businesses like this and we need to support them in every way we can.
